Everybody Loves the Humanscale 900 Keyboard Tray

Our most popular keyboard tray system without a doubt is the Humanscale 900 adjustable keyboard tray. It adapts to one of the widest ranges of desk setups of any keyboard tray we sell, and may work well at your desk.

A keyboard tray needs to be sturdy, and the 900 is definitely that. Unlike some of our other keyboard trays, it is constructed of a resin called Phenolic that is so strong that they are able to make the platform very thin and lightweight without compromising strength. The mounting hardware is sturdy, and the nylon track lets it glide smoothly in and out from your desk. In addition to strength, adjustability is important as well.

With six inches of height adjustment on the standard mechanisms , the Humanscale 900 raises and lowers to the height necessary for a variety of different sizes of people. It also has up to 15 degrees of negative tilt to keep those wrists in the proper ergonomic position. Within those degrees, it has more or less infinite adjustment, via the very easy dial-a-tilt, provided you choose the 5G or 6G mechanisms.

Finally, our favorite mouse platform for the 900, the clip mouse, swivels around 360 degrees, allowing it to be in the perfect position for both use and storage. It also tilts independently of the platform, meaning that your mouse can be flat even if your keyboard is tilted. This keeps it from sliding off.
