Introducing the LifeSpan Treadmill Desk

We are introducing the newest addition to our selection of exercise desks - the LifeSpan Treadmill Desk TR1200-DT. This desk, now available from Human Solution, features a treadmill with a motor that was designed to operate for hours at low speeds, a 350 pound weight limit and a top speed of four miles per hour.

It's been recommended that we should try to take at least 10,000 steps every day, and this treadmill has an integrated pedometer so you can keep track of the number of steps that you take. Stats geeks are in luck, because you also receive a 4 month LifeSpan Fitness Club trial membership, which allows you to track and save fitness goals, progress, and results. This will help you stay focused and motivated as you watch the activity line go up, and the weight and body fat lines go down!

Not one to sacrifice style for functionality, this desk also delivers in that department. The treadmill control panel and cable management systems are concealed under the desktop to create an uncluttered work area, and it has padded armrests for comfort. This is our first treadmill desk to feature manual height adjustment, with a range from 41" to 57" (36" to 51" from the top of the treadmill) that will accommodate users from 4'10" to 6'8". The desktop itself is generously sized, at 46.5" by 31", and you can free up even more valuable desktop real estate by adding on a CPU holder and monitor arm.

So you've realized that being able to walk while you work is a great idea, but you're worried about safety? Have no fear; the LifeSpan Treadmill Desk was designed with safety in mind. The top speed is 4 miles per hour, although we've found that a speed of 1-2 miles per hour is the best range for use while working. This allows you to stay focused on your work, while maintaining a casual walking pace. In case of emergency, the shut-off key attaches to your clothes and causes the treadmill to turn off immediately if the key is removed from the display. The desk also has rounded corners for safety and padded armrests that allow you to comfortably rest your arms on the desk for extra stability while you are walking.
