While designing the Esters and Lange residences in Krefeld, Germany, architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe envisioned the Knoll Krefeld Coffee Table as part of his "furniture suite" which included a lounge chair and ottoman. Much like their companion, the Krefeld Side Table, these modern coffee tables reflect van der Rohe's syntax of proportion and restraint. Available in a range of clear or stained finishes, Knoll Krefeld Coffee Tables can accent any number of varying settings.Read More...

Ludwig Mies van der Rohe started his career as a stonemason for his father's business, and soon thereafter became an apprentice to furniture designer Bruno Paul. These two aspects of his formative years are on display in the simple and elegant proportionality of the Knoll Krefeld Coffee Table. We suggest pairing it with a Krefeld Side Table to begin your own "furniture suite."
