"The underside of typical chairs and tables makes a confusing, unrestful world," Eero Saarinen once explained regarding his aesthetic of simple design unity. "I wanted to clear up the 'slum' of legs." This streamlined approach can be seen in the base of the Knoll Saarinen Round Dining Table, a heavy cast aluminum coated in a tough Rilsan finish for durability.
