F.A.Q.

  1. I've seen a version of the Ergohuman with a footrest. Do you carry that?

The Ergohuman model you are referring to is an overseas knockoff and is not an official part of the Ergohuman line. We only carry brand new, authorized Raynor Ergohuman chairs that come with the full limited lifetime warranty.

  2. I have a part that needs to be replaced on my Ergohuman. Can I submit a warranty claim?

If you are the original purchaser of the Raynor Ergohuman Chair, then your chair comes standard with a limited lifetime warranty. Our team can walk you through the steps of getting the warranty claim started. If you are not the original purchaser of the chair, then you can order replacement parts for your Ergohuman chair through us. Either way, we will have you back to sitting pretty at your desk in no time.

  3. Is the lumbar support adjustable?

The Ergohuman ME7ERG has an adjustable back that moves up and down to help position the lumbar in the correct position. The lumbar itself is not adjustable independent of the back rest.

  4. What is the difference between all the versions of the Ergohuman?

Upholstery is the main difference between the chairs in the Ergohuman line. In addition to different upholstery options, you can also order your Ergohuman chair with or without a headrest.

  5. What's the difference between the ME7ERG and the LE9ERG?

The only difference between these two chairs is that the Ergohuman ME7ERG Chair is mesh and the Ergohuman LE9ERG chair is bonded leather. Other than upholstery, they are exactly the same chair.

  6. I love the color options for this chair. Are there color options for the frame as well?

No, the frame is only available with a chrome base.

Mesh Color

The Raynor Ergohuman ME7ERG Chair is available in six mesh colors: black, plum red, orange, green, blue, or gray. The colored mesh choices feature interwoven black mesh.

    Really? Yep

Posted by Ray on Jul 28th 2016

Several years ago I read the reviews about this chair easing their back pain. Having suffering chronic back pain most of my life I read those reviews with interest. I didn't believe just sitting in a office chair could be therapeutic, but since I needed a chair anyway I thought, why not? What I found is that the unique adjustments allows the chair to apply presser where it is needed to prevent vertebra from pinching the nerves in the effected area. I used to take regular moving-around brakes. Now, With this chair, I don't take "relief" brakes anymore! Plus, I love my power naps in the chair.

    Pros: The adjustable features
Cons: That I didn't find it sooner.

    Best. Chair. Ever.

What more can I say? I have never had a chair that didn't leave my back hurting half way through the day. This chair is such a pleasure to sit in that I work longer hours now! No doubt my boss will buy them for everyone now!

Pros: Seat and back tilt independent from each other.
Back and lumbar support height adjustable.
    Head rest is actually usable.
No desire to sit forward in my seat.

    Cons: There are none!

    Raynor Ergohuman Chair w/Headrest

Posted by Darren Cocchetto on Sep 10th 2014

This is an absolutely amazing chair. I ordered one for my own office after having had the opportunity of sitting in one all day at a client's office. It is very comfortable and more importantly supportive and well worth the investment. If you are like me and spend the majority of your day at a desk this is the chair for you.

    Raynor Ergohuman Chair

This is absolutely "the best" office chair. If you have neck and back pain sitting at your desk all day, it will be gone using this chair. People always look for leather cushy chairs that they think will be super comfortable. But they are not comfortable and force poor posture, which ends up hurting. This mesh chair gives you great support in the lower back and the headrest supports your neck. The arm rests are adjustable so that your wrists can remain straight. If I had this chair in the past, I probably wouldn't have had to have carpal tunnel surgery. Since I ordered this chair my boss and another supervisor have also had me order them the same chair. "Cushy is not always comfortable"!

Be kind to your body and ditch that cheap big box store chair NOW!

Posted by Dana Pagliarulo on Jul 21st 2014

I have been holding off on reviewing this chair until I have actually used it for a decent amount of time. It has been 1 year and 3 months. I can say that I love this chair and have not regretted the investment I have made in it. For too long I have been ruining my back with cheap high back chairs from the big box stores which I would replace at least every 2 years.

I work from home, so you know that my chair has received a workout. I am 5'9" and this chair fits me beautifully. I can sit here for work all day, and still feel comfortable to sit in it while I surf online at night. The angles to incline are just to my liking. The material does not cause irritation to my skin nor makes it itchy. The neck rest is a must have in my opinion.

If I had one complaint, it would be that the armrests move out of position just a little too easily. Not so much that it's bothersome, but I would prefer them to be stiffer so that accidental movements are avoided.

I know it's an investment, but it has been so worth it. My friends are extremely jealous and really notice a difference between it and cheap chairs. They can't believe the comfort and neither will you. There is a reason it is so highly rated.

    What a Chair

Posted by kc dutton on Mar 10th 2014

I wanted to give the chair a 4.5, not due to any shortcomings of the Ergo, just because no chair is perfect.
That said, this chair is fantastic...Is is a chair in which you place your bottom to accomplish tasks at your desk? Yes. Are there other pieces that accomplish the same purpose? Yes.
The difference is the experience. It's one of those things you don't think of until you have sat down and tried it yourself. In 10 years of owning my previous chair (which was a decent chair in its own right), I never once even thought about falling asleep in it. Within the 1st week of owning the Ergo, I wasn't able to stop myself from doing it.
Very expensive, but very worth it if you spend any significant amount of time in your chair.
