12C/13C - The Voss Mesh Back ships standard with the 12C single position, knee-tilt mechanism. The 13C is the 12C with the addition of a seat slider for depth adjustment. This is a basic mechanism perfect for conference rooms or administrative tasks. For full ergonomic adjustment capabilities, please consider the 24C or 29C mechanisms.

The 12C/13C features:

24C - The 24C three-position posture back control utilizes a fixed seat and offers a back that locks into 3 tilt-lock positions and a tension adjustment for rocking back in comfort. Seat depth adjustment is not available on this mechanism making it best for those of average stature. It also features 360° swivel and a gas cylinder height adjustment.

29C - The 29C offers full, button controlled synchro-tilt and includes a side tension adjuster. Forward tilting is possible and the back locks into 3 different tilt positions. Seat slide is included. This mechanism offers the widest range of adjustments and is perfect for long hours or a chair that must fit different people.

Via Fabric and Leather options

Via offers 277 different fabrics and leathers, and will even use your fabric if you wish. If you select from the in-stock offerings, your chair will ship in 2 business days. Non-stock fabrics take about 2-3 weeks to ship. Be aware when you view our fabric swatches that monitors render colors differently and what you see on screen may be different from the actual fabric. When color is critical, please ask us to order swatches for you. We do not charge to send out swatches for your review.

Insight - Grade A

Insight is a durable 100% polyester with an acrylic backing woven fabric featuring rich colors and is stain resistant. Abrasion rating is 192,000 double rubs. Can be cleaned with water based agents, foam or pure water-free solvents.

Origin - Grade A

Origin is a durable 100% polyester woven fabric with an acrylic backing that is stain resistant. Abrasion rating is 210,000 double rubs. Can be cleaned with water based agents, foam or pure water-free solvents.

Basis - Grade A

Basis is 100% polyester with a latex backing and features a proprietary stain resistant finish. Abrasion rating is 45,000 double rubs. May be cleaned only with pure, water-free solvents. If you use water or detergent basis cleaners it may shrink or leave permanent water stains.

Era - Grade B

Era is a soft, plush, much like a velour, crafted of 85% polyester and 15% viscose rayon with an acrylic backing and a Teflon finish for stain resistance. This durable fabric has an abrasion rating of 100,000 double rubs. May be cleaned only with pure, water-free solvents. If you use water or detergent basis cleaners it may shrink or leave permanent water stains.

Cachet - Grade 1

Cachet is our most popular textile as it mimics a soft, supple synthetic suede. Though not a luxurious or durable as true ultrasuede (available on the Swopper Special Edition), it offers a nice surface at a reasonable price. Cachet is crafted of 100% polyester and features a proprietary stain resistant finish. Abrasion rating is 33,000 double rubs. Dry clean only.

Prompt - Grade 1

Prompt is a teflon coated, 100% polyester woven fabric with a latex backing. Abrasion rating is 30,000 rubs. Can be cleaned with water based agents, foam or pure water-free solvents.

Top grain leather - Grade 6 and Corrected leather Grade 5

Grade 5 corrected leather is available in black only but offers the beauty of true leather at a reduced cost. It is stiffer and may take a bit more time to soften up but should deliver the same or better durability. The grade 6 top grain leather is extremely high quality and colored with pure aniline dyes. They feature rich colors and a durable, protective finish with a very soft and supple hand. Treat as you would any fine leather.

Prolence leather - Grade 8

Prolence leather is the top of the line and is a premium, top grain, European hide featuring aniline dyes and a transparent topical finish that protects from some stains and reduces moisture absorption. All colors are created in the initial dying phase. No shading or stains are added to the surface so nothing obscures the natural shadings and typical surface irregularities. This creates an extremely soft hand and rich colors. Treat as you would any fine leather.
