    Adesso Tru-Form Pro Ergonomic Review

Posted by Adesso User on Oct 15th 2018

Overall, a good keyboard. Key layout is good, the split is comfortable for the hands. The touchpad is nothing special, but works well. (I don't use the various special function buttons.)

The one critical thing this keyboard is missing -- the reason for only 4 stars -- is the mouse/touchpad roller wheel to scroll through web pages and documents. This is a requirement for modern keyboards with mouse functions built in. Adesso addresses this in its Adesso WKB-3150UB keyboard, but sadly not this one.

    Arm and wrist painfree!

Posted by Irene on Jan 19th 2017

I love, love, love my Adesso Tru-Form keyboard, and am so attached to it! I've used it for close to 10 years now - I'm into my second Adesso; first one stopped working due to some spillage on it. Prior to switching to this keyboard, I was dealing with a ton of achy, lingering pain on my right arm and wrist due to having to extend my arm using a mouse. Not long after switching over, my pain went COMPLETELY away from both my wrist and arm, and I've never had to use my wrist support again. I can't express just how VERY grateful I am for its existence! The only suggestion I would make is to make a cordless version.

Pros: Ergonomic design, the contour that takes away the strain from prolonged typing
Placement of the touchpad that's user-friendly to the right arm (no need to constantly extend it)

    Steep angle

Posted by Casey on Mar 28th 2016

This is my second ergonomic keyboard. The first one (from another company) worked great and only died after a glass of water was deposited on it. Sought a replacement and was attracted to this one. Bought it and after one hour of usage realized the angle is so steep that it negates the purpose of an ergonomic keyboard.
    Do not buy!

Cons: Steep angle. Hurts wrists when typing.

I like the keyboard; ordered two, but one had sticking keys and would not work. Adesso support not responsive.

    Ergonomic keyboard

Posted by Donna on Apr 14th 2013

We are overall very happy with this keyboard, it is smooth and responsive and can handle high speed keying. The only problem I have with it is the touchpad, it has a built in scroll feature on the right side and it is easy to engage it inadvertently. Other than that we love it. It is also nice that there is only one hookup for both the keyboard and touchpad.

    touch pad key board

Posted by Lynne on Oct 10th 2012

This keyboard worked for approximately 1 week then started to not work properly. This is the second touch pad keyboard I have tried. I had a Periboard 507 that lasted just over 1 year and then started not working properly. The difficulty I had with both of them is they will just stop working and then start again after a minute or so.....very frustrating. When it stopped functioning none of the keys worked only the mouse. When they do work they are wonderful and have given my very painful shoulder great relief from soreness and fatigue. I need to find one that will last more than 1 year and is fully functional at all times.

This product comes standard with a 1-year warranty.
