F.A.Q.

  1. I've seen a version of the Ergohuman with a footrest. Do you carry that?

The Ergohuman model you are referring to is an overseas knockoff and is not an official part of the Ergohuman line. We only carry brand new, authorized Raynor Ergohuman chairs that come with the full limited lifetime warranty.

  2. I have a part that needs to be replaced on my Ergohuman. Can I submit a warranty claim?

If you are the original purchaser of the Raynor Ergohuman Chair, then your chair comes standard with a limited lifetime warranty. Our team can walk you through the steps of getting the warranty claim started. If you are not the original purchaser of the chair, then you can order replacement parts for your Ergohuman chair through us. Either way, we will have you back to sitting pretty at your desk in no time.

  3. Is the lumbar support adjustable?

The Ergohuman ME7ERG has an adjustable back that moves up and down to help position the lumbar in the correct position. The lumbar itself is not adjustable independent of the back rest.

  4. What is the difference between all the versions of the Ergohuman?

Upholstery is the main difference between the chairs in the Ergohuman line. In addition to different upholstery options, you can also order your Ergohuman chair with or without a headrest.

  5. What's the difference between the ME7ERG and the LE9ERG?

The only difference between these two chairs is that the Ergohuman ME7ERG Chair is mesh and the Ergohuman LE9ERG chair is bonded leather. Other than upholstery, they are exactly the same chair.

  6. I love the color options for this chair. Are there color options for the frame as well?

No, the frame is only available with a chrome base.

Mesh Color

The Raynor Ergohuman ME7ERG Chair is available in six mesh colors: black, plum red, orange, green, blue, or gray. The colored mesh choices feature interwoven black mesh.

    Good choice

Posted by Alex on Apr 5th 2011

I have only had the chair for about 2 months, but so far I'm very pleased. Everything seems sturdy and well built. The grey mesh that I got is comfortable, rugged and there are no problems keeping it clean. I'm 6ft. 215lbs. and I can sit very comfortably with the chair set to it's highest position. Any taller and it could start to be a problem. I tried a HumanScale chair at a store, which is considerably more expensive, and it felt very small and uncomfortable. The Ergohuman is a much better fit.

    Love it!

This chair is great. I've had it for about 2 years now. It is just now starting to creak when I lean back. I've modified the distance of the arms to make them lower so my arms would be 90 degrees and not slightly cramped like before. Other than that, I'm really happy!

    They are awesome!!!

I have owned several Ergohuman chairs for years now and would not think of settling for another brand. Over the years I my weight has fluctuated greatly and yet I'm always comfortable in my Ergohuman chairs. That's their secret; "long lasting phenomenal comfort" as the chair positions you in a stress-free posture.

    The ME7ERG chair

Posted by Claudette Cole on Jul 24th 2010

I bought this chair because my husband has the exact same chair and he loves it and when I tried his, I loved it too. It is very comfortable and I like that you can adjust it to so many positions. The mesh fabric keeps it cool especially on a hot day. The adjustable arm rest is also a nice feature. I think you should kee selling this chair. I would recomment it to friends.

    Resolved Neck Pain

Posted by Millicent P on Jul 23rd 2010

Five years ago we purchased a $400 ergonomic chair, that had a tilt seat and back. The company promised it would resolve my lower back pain. It helped at first but after using it for three years, my back pain worsen and then I developed severe hip pain.

My doctor suggested to change my office chair, because I sat for hours typing reports and research papers. After sitting in my doctor's Herman Miller and Raynor chairs, the Ergohuman felt better for my body, however, I did not want to spend $900 on a chair.

For months, I used various pillows and cushion supports in different chairs but I still never could sit for more than a few hours without some back or hip pain.

I am short, heavy thighs and butt with a very curved lower back. Therefore I really needed a chair with full back support, and not an ergonomic task chair.

This year, I experienced a neck injury that required weeks of therapy. So I had to get a chair that would support my neck and shoulders.

The lower price of the chair, free shipping plus a discount motivated me to open my wallet and buy the Ergohuman mesh chair with headrest.

First day using the chair, I noticed that my back and neck are fully supported. This chair allows me to sit correctly, without slumping my shoulders or straining my neck forward. Even when I lean forward and backward my neck, back and shoulders are touching the chair. Don't wait and wait like I did because of the cost, get this chair to help your body feel good.

I have the mesh chair in the blue color which is closer to navy blue than aqua blue.

The only minus is that I am short and I can not adjust the head rest low enough to reach my neck. At the lowest point the head rest touches my head and I wish I could get it to move down 2 more inches.

    Best chair I've ever owned

Posted by Eric G on Jul 20th 2010

I recently upgraded from a $50 office supply store chair to the Ergohuman Mesh chair from TheHumanSolution, and I'll never look back!

The mesh is supportive and cool, the lumbar support and other adjustments fit my body perfectly, and I'm 6'4" 200lbs!

The only thing I would change would be to add a tilt limiter, where the maximum recline angle could be set by a toggle. Sometimes I find the deep recline of the Ergohuman to be a little too far for my regular programming activities.

    Thanks TheHumanSolution and Raynor!
    Eric

    Best chair ever

Posted by Jerry on Nov 12th 2009

We bought one last year and it was great so we bought a second one this year. We both have neck and back problems and this is the only chair that lets us set comfortable for long periods of time. I wish the headrest could be leaned forward more so my head was braced when working on the computer, but other than that your chair is the best.

ergo mesh cahir - better than I could have hoped for

Posted by Bryan Scott on Oct 6th 2009

I had been having back problems fro months, resulting in time off work and a lot of intense pain. I came to the conclusion that the desk chair I was using was the cause of my issues. I decided on an ergo mesh chair, and my back problems are history. The mesh molds to my body contours and supports my head superbly. I also find that the mesh fabric allows my skin to breathe, whereas my old chair seemed to cause me to sweat, and I was having to deal with a rather disturbing odor from the fabric of my old chair. This is also a thing of the past. This chair is the best purchase I have made in quite some time, and although it was rather a high price, I have no regrets at all. Worth every penny. And, best of all, the price I got at the human solution beat all the competition hands down....believe me, I did my homework and shopped around online for many hours before I settled on this purchase from this store. RECOMMENDED BUY!!!!
