    High tech mouse

Great mouse. Buttons are nice. DPI change on top of mouse is nice. Mouse is a bit shiny in the thumb area (chromed out) but I still like it.

Nice feel but still too small for large hands

Posted by Mathew on Oct 15th 2010

It looks nice, there's no problem with installation, and the software works without a hitch. Button action is quite nice and pointer movement can be adjusted to fit anyone's preference. But...I'm 6'7" with very large hands and this mouse (like every other mouse I've tried) just isn't large enough. Also the finish on the buttons is too smooth and glossy. It doesn't allow your finger tips to breath and they can start to feel clammy. Think leather seats in the summer. It would be better if the buttons had a flat slightly textured finish like most hand held devices. My quest for the world's largest mouse continues.

    Enjoying the mouse

Posted by Diane P on Aug 19th 2010

I enjoy the mouse and have experienced a definite decrease in the discomfort in my wrist. I did have to send the first mouse back after a couple of weeks because it would stop working for no apparent reason. While waiting for the replacement, I used my old mouse and immediately began feeling the pain again. The replacement is working fine.

I also enjoy the feature that allows you to set specific intervals at which the mouse will remind you to take a break and stretch. This is great for me because sometimes I can get focused and loose track of time. According to my doctor I need to do more stretching so this is a perfect reminder!

The hand position is more comfortable however the unit is harder to control as I have arthritis in my hands.
If posible I would appreciate if I could return it.

    Vertical Mouse

Posted by Francoise Chapman on Feb 28th 2010

I now have 4 Evoluent Vertical Mice and find them indispensable for anyone who uses a mouse for more than 15 minutes a day.The sad thing is that I am quite unable to convince conventional mouse users , many already suffering from wrist pain, that they should try out a vertical mouse.

    Good Mouse

Posted by John on Dec 27th 2009

I currently have aches in my wrists and I thought this would help ease some of those. So far it has been very comfortable to use and I have not had the aches from long term computer use that I have had with a normal mouse. My only complaint its that it is hard to keep it still when clicking because the force of the click moves the mouse to the left. with a traditional mouse that force goes down and isnt a problem but with this mouse it moves the mouse around and i am always correcting it. Other than that it has been a very satisfying purchase.

    Bad Quality

Posted by doug crawford on Oct 27th 2009

Though this device is very good for wrist position and comfort, they dropped the ball on quality. The buttons fail. I have gone thru two in two years, and it always fails just after the warranty is up!

This product comes standard with a 2-year warranty.
