Steelcase Think Drafting Stool Features
- Your Profile seat and back- The Think chair features individual back flexors that track the movement of your spine and pelvis as you move, providing optimal support for each area regardless of how you move. The seat flexors conform to your shape, creating a dynamic comfort pocket for continuous support and comfort
- Your Power mechanism- moves with you, fluidly providing recline support in proportion to your body weight as you recline, while at the same time keeping you oriented to your work
- Flexible seat edge- flexes to prevent pressure on the back of your legs when you recline or lean forward
- Highly adjustable arms- independently move in and out, forward and back, up and down and pivot so you can find the exact position for optimal support and comfort
- Your Preference tension control- allows you to select your favorite setting from four different choices: weight activated, weight activated with a 20% boost, mid-stop recline or upright position seat lock
- Adjustable lumbar support and headrest are optional and can be added at any time

The Think chair is up to 98% recyclable by weight, and may be constructed of up to 37% recycled materials.

Frame Color - Steelcase Think Drafting Stool
The frame is available in a black or platinum finish.
Base Color - Steelcase Think Drafting Stool
The base may either match the black or platinum frame of the chair, or it may be polished aluminum.
Headrest - Steelcase Think Drafting Stool
The optional headrest adjusts 4" vertically and 2.5" horizontally. For users 6' 2" or taller, the headrest will act as a neck support as it will most likely not be tall enough.
Lumbar Support - Steelcase Think Drafting Stool
The Think Chair does not come standard with adjustable lumbar support and we highly recommend adding this feature especially if chair will be used for long hours. Adjustable tabs allow users to easily move lumbar height 4 1/4" to fit the individual curvature of their back.
Casters - Steelcase Think Drafting Stool
Choose from standard hard casters for carpets or soft casters for hardwood or concrete floors.
Arms - Steelcase Think Drafting Stool
Choose from standard adjustable arms, fixed arms or no arms for your Think chair.
Note: We highly recommend the standard adjustable arms. They adjust up and down, left and right, forwards and backwards, and angle 30 degrees in each direction. They are easily some of the best arms on the market.
Back Fabric - Steelcase Think Chair
Unlike some mesh chairs, 3D knit mesh is soft to the touch and will not abrade your clothing.
Seat Fabric - Steelcase Think Chair
The Think chair is available in three different materials that all work great on this chair. The Buzz2 offers a colorful array of durable fabrics with a subtle texture. Link offers a more contemporary look, and Connect is a softer textile in saturated colors that match perfectly with the 3D knit back. The standard leather offered by Steelcase on the Think is a thick grainy leather with a selection of colors that looks as great as the chair feels.
