Varier Wing Balans Kneeling Chair
May 14, 2014
The Varier Wing Balans Kneeling Chair was a replacement for a BackSaver kneeling chair, purchased in 2003. This chair is extremely important to me, as I use it on average about 13 hours a day. It is used in conjunction with ergo rests: http://www.ergorest.fi/fi/Etusivu/tuotteet/kyynarvarsituet/ An online review of the BackSaver - as well as a photo - may be found here: http://shopscout.blogspot.com In that review, the Hag Balans is mentioned. Varier now produces the replacement for the Hag Balans in the form of the Varier Wing Balans Kneeling Chair. So, if one we wants this sort of char, and a quality product - this appears to be the only choice. The BackSaver I have has essentially failed due to metal fatigue. However, I got 11 years of service out of it, so it provided good value. I am still shopping around for a competent welder that can repair it so I might be able to use it again. I'm unsure if the Varier Wing Balans Kneeling Chair will last as long as the BackSaver, but only time will tell. I have been using the Varier Wing Balans Kneeling Chair for 3 months now. It simply doesn't feel as "sturdy" as the BackSaver, and I can never *quite* get as comfortable in the Varier Wing Balans Kneeling Chair as I did in the BackSaver. That said - it is miles above any other kneeling chair I have tried, in my search for a replacement for the BackSaver. the Varier Wing Balans Kneeling Chair does the job, but not quite as well as I would like it to. Considering there's nothing else on the market I have found that comes close, it is the only solution at the moment - until I get my BackSaver repaired.
