Working well
This unit has been working very well for us. It shipped quickly, and we pulled it out of the box and started using it right away. It is heavy and built very well, which we really like. The case is also nice, which is important to me personally. Everyone here agrees that the weight is a fine trade-off for a piece of equipment that is built well and feels nice and solid.
The only reason for subtracting a star: On our unit, we have noticed that the Peak Mode is inaccurate when the unit is plugged in to power. It does not, however, seem to affect it in Average Mode. We've tested this several ways to make sure it was not error on our part. However, when the unit is not plugged in and is only running on the batteries, the Peak Mode seems to report perfectly. This is really not a big deal for us considering the battery lasts a long time, but I could not give it a full 5 starts knowing about this error. Even knowing this, I'd still buy this unit again in confidence. -
Shimpo FGE-200HX
The unit arrived very quickly and I am impressed with the quality and feel of the unit. It is fairly heavy (4.5lbs with handles fitted, 1.8lbs without) but the construction is very strong. I was less impressed that the unit arrived with an out-of-date calibration certificate. However I have noted that nowhere on the web site are the units marked as being calibrated. Something to note if your application requires a calibrated unit.

Shipped to me quickly
I ordered this online and they shipped it to me the same day. i received the tracking number the same day too. excellent buying experience and i'll buy here again. my only complaint is that this gauge is heavy duty and thus weighs a bit, but it will last forever which is good as i lend it out to other engineers and they always get dropped occasionally.

Amazing force gauge
This gauge is built very well with a metal case and has great handles that are removable. The attachments it comes with are also excellent. It is working flawlessly for me.
