Goldtouch Ergonomic Mouse

The right-handed Goldtouch Ergonomic Mouse is offered for $15.00 with this keyboard bundle (regularly $59.00). The popular Goldtouch Ergonomic Mouse treats and prevents repetitive stress injuries caused by traditional mice by decreasing hand fatigue and discomfort for users with its unique, contoured shape. The body of the mouse supports a neutral wrist angle of 20° - 30° as shown in the image below. The Goldtouch Mouse design also offers longer buttons with a low click force, allowing users with different sized hands to comfortably use the same mouse while minimizing the pressure needed to click the buttons. You may also choose the left handed version for a discounted price of $39.00.

Jar Opener

Don't let a jar of pickles, olives, or your grandmother's jam cause pain or injury. Trying to open a stubborn jar requires high hand forces which lead to unnecessary strain. A jar opener decreases the grip strength necessary to open the often-stuck jar. Keep your hands safe with an UPLIFT jar opener, free with your purchase.

A wireless keyboard that is undependable

Posted by Unknown on Apr 8th 2017

First off, I am an avid fan of Goldtouch keyboards. But this wireless one, fails miserably. Like one of the reviewers above I encounter a problem with the wireless connection all the time.. I use the keyboard between two different computers and every time I switch, there are major issues in it getting recognized by the computer. This happens even if you use the same computer but restart the computer (ubuntu 16.04). Also, very often the keyboard just keeps printing the same key just over and over again.. another reviewer said it must be because the up key event gets lost, which makes sense..

I have been contemplating putting this review in for a month, but now, I just cannot take it any more. Its probably too late to return this garbage keyboard, so I'm just going to have to buy a new one..

If its any consolation, the keyboard key quality itself is gorgeous. The keys are in weird places though, where you dont expect them.. for example the home key is on the top left. The escape key is really small, so if you type using utilities like vim you will be hard pressed to get the right ones..

Great keyboard that suffers from being a Bluetooth device

Posted by Patrick S on Mar 14th 2017

I've had this keyboard for about 3 months now and use it daily on my main computer, my laptop. The flexibility that the locking joint permits is wonderful, and I find typing on it very comfortable. I was worried that like most extra shallow, scissor-switch laptop style keys they would not depress enough or would feel stiff, but the keys are much more pleasant than I imagined from the pictures.

Before this I used a Kinesis Freestyle 2 with the hand rests and angle attachments, and for me personally this keyboard is better. As an Emacs user I hit the Alt key frequently, and the spacebar, while large enough to be used as the spacebar, is also small enough to allow me to stretch my left thumb very easily to the alt key. The Home, Page Up, Page Down, and End keys are unusually placed, but after adjusting to their location it did not seem like much of a problem. I didn't enjoy the separate cluster of the Freestyle 2's keys to the left: when not looking at the keyboard it makes it harder to anchor your left hand in the correct position. I never got used to those but instead infrequently hit those keys on accident.

I'd give the keyboard 5 stars if it was just the keyboard. The bluetooth connectivity, while convenient, disconnects somewhat often. Occasionally there will be a short gap between a Key Down event being sent and a Key Up event after that, so during text editing there will be a pause, and suddenly fifteen "e"s will appear when it was only hit once. It does not appear possible to use the micro-USB port to use this as a wired keyboard, as that only serves to charge the keyboard when plugged in. These sorts of small, bluetooth-related problems happen a couple of times a week, enough for them to be noticeable but not catastrophic. I can still wholly recommend this keyboard to anyone interested in it.

I would love to see this keyboard with the option of having a wired connection so that you could use the wireless only when you needed it.

    Pros:
    Comfortable
    Customizable in arch/split
Keys feel good compared to most laptop-style keys
Battery lasts a long time and is rechargeable
Bluetooth can be used with phones, tablets, and laptops
Folds to a very compact size for easy transport

Cons: Bluetooth connections are not the most stable

    Perfect

    My first ergonomic keyboard.
Keys sometimes give out a squeak and the bluetooth disconnects from time to time. Other than that, simply a bliss.

    Compact and sturdy

Posted by Bill Buchta on Feb 10th 2014

I bought this keyboard because I broke my wrist and was in a long arm cast. This keyboard was perfect for my needs. It has a good feel and just enough adjustability. I have a Kinesis at work and it is too bulky, has odd buttons on the sides that I hit by accident, and it will not stay tilted unless I duct tape it in position -- very clutsy. The Kinesis also does not pack well, being bullky. Goldtouch all the way.
