Mechanism - BodyBilt 2600 Mesh Ergonomic Chair

The BodyBilt 2600 Mesh Ergonomic Chair is available with your choice of seat mechanisms. Each of these mechanisms have been designed in a specific way to complement a person's natural sitting tendencies.

• The main pivot point of the J mechanism occurs at the center of the mechanism. Four adjustments are featured: seat angle, seat height, backrest angle, with a built-in seat slider. The J mechanism is the most popular mechanism available on a BodyBilt chair and we highly recommend it.
• The E mechanism pivots from near the front of the mechanism, offering maximum forward tilt, a more pronounced recline, and a gentle rocking function when the seat tilt lever is raised to "free floating" position. Like the J mechanism, the E mechanism has four main adjustment features: seat angle, seat height, backrest angle, and a built-in seat slider.
• The R mechanism with built in Synchro-Tilt is very easy to operate. Chairs with an R mechanism are designed to allow you to lean back in your chair, with the seat sliding forward equivalently, automatically keeping you in a comfortable position. The four adjustment features of the R mechanism are seat height, tilt tension, seat slider and tilt lockout.

Seat contour - BodyBilt 2600 Mesh Ergonomic Chair

All BodyBilt Chairs can be ordered with variant levels of seat contour. Seats are molded to reduce pressure in the lower body, encouraging proper circulation and reducing strain on areas that are normally targeted for pressure. Levels of contour range from lightly contoured to heavily contoured. Seats are also available with a reduced pommel in the front.

Moderately contoured seat [7] - The #7 seat is the most popular BodyBilt seat. Moderate contouring helps minimize pressure points and better supports your body by spreading your seated weight, reducing the possibility of back pain.

Minimally contoured seat [8] - The #8 seat is for users that prefer less contouring to their seat. This seat contains less of a center pommel, and the contours along the sides and bottom of the seat further prevent users from bottoming out.

Highly contoured seat [2] - Bodybilt's original #2 seat is designed to offer maximum support in a forward tilt position. Contours reduce pressure points which can cause numbness and back pain. Most users avoid this type of tractor seat unless they need serious support that encourages a static posture; the pommel does not allow for users to shift in their chair or cross their legs.

Seat padding - BodyBilt 2600 Mesh Ergonomic Chair

The BodyBilt 2600 Mesh Ergonomic Chair is offered with a standard layer of seat padding that can be upgraded to a S'Port Foam Seat. S'Port Foam is very similar to memory foam in feel, and we highly recommend this option if you're looking for an extra-comfortable chair or you sit in your chair for more than eight hours per day.

Fabric - Grade 1

Staccato is the most durable fabric offered by BodyBilt and perfect for high-use situations such as call centers or other 24/7, multi-shift applications. Wear rating is in excess of one million double-rubs, and Staccato is made of 100% cordura nylon. It meets CA fire retardancy requirements.

Liberty is a knobby weave fabric with rich colors that look good in office settings. Liberty is made of 100% nylon and rated for 200,000+ double-rubs. It also meets CA fire retardancy standards.

Hue is a knobby weave fabric, made of 100% recycled polyester with a Teflon coating for stain resistance. This fabric is exceptionally durable with a one million double-rub rating - making this another excellent choice for a 24/7 multi-shift office or heavy use environment. Hue also meets CA 117-E flammability standards.

Fabric - Grade 3

We highly recommend Comfortek on all Bodybilt chairs. It's the most comfortable fabric available and offers 3-way stretch, so your cushions are less restricted and feel softer than cushions upholstered in a woven fabric. The knit also allows for air flow, creating a cooler chair in hot weather. Comfortek rates 295,000 double-rubs, and is made from 100% polyester. It also meets CA fire retardancy requirements.

Fabric - Grade 4

Brisa is a high-quality synthetic leather; it is not vinyl. Brisa offers an excellent alternative for customers who want the look and feel of a leather chair at a fraction of the cost. Plus, it's easier to clean and longer lasting. This material is stain-resistant and antimicrobial, wipes clean, has an extraordinarily soft hand, and will outlast leather. Brisa is also more breathable than leather, making it much cooler for long periods of time. Durability is rated at 200,000+ double-rubs, and it meets CA 117 flame retardancy requirements.

Leather - Grade 1

BodyBilt uses genuine Scandinavian hides. Elmosoft leather is recyclable and biodegradable, chrome-free and environmentally green. This is a full grain, semi-aniline leather with a light protective finish to protect against spills. This leather has a very luxurious, soft feel, and it is never corrected, buffed or altered in any way.
