The Goldtouch Adjustable Ergonomic Split Keyboard offers a significant health improvement over standard keyboards. Most keyboards are flat; if you use one for several hours a day, a flat keyboard can create health problems for your hands and wrists. Some keyboards improve on this by tenting. Tenting raises the center height of the keyboard to provide for a healthier positioning of the hands. Unfortunately, this is still a one-size-fits all solution.
The Goldtouch Keyboard allows you, the user, to determine the angle and height that works best for your hands and wrists. The Goldtouch split keyboard adjusts in seconds, so you can separate and tent the alphanumeric sections to suit your personal requirements. Research has shown this can help prevent and reduce the discomfort of repetitive stress injuries like Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

The Goldtouch is one of our favorite ergonomic keyboards. Split keyboards allow the wrists to be straight while typing by minimizing ulnar deviation of the wrist. Tenting or tilting the halves of the keyboard minimizes forearm pronation. We often recommend the Goldtouch keyboard in combination with the pronation reducing Evoluent mouse as an excellent ergonomic keyboard and mouse combination.
