Mechanism - Neutral Posture 8000 Chair
Choose from two different mechanisms that determine the adjustability and range of movement for your chair. The multi-function mechanism tilts from the center of the chair and offers extra ergonomic adjustments.
The knee-tilt mechanism rocks from just under the knee. When the knee-tilt mechanism is used in conjunction with the back angle adjustment, the chair can rock further back allowing you to take a break and reduce the pressure on your spine. The knee-tilt comes standard with a shorter cylinder, and this allows for tilting way back without putting pressure on the back of your legs.

Seat - Neutral Posture 8000 Chair
Neutral Posture offers a variety of seats and seat contours to suit every body. The reason for considering a more contoured seat is that it distributes body weight more evenly, reducing major pressure points. Contouring also encourages you to sit back in your seat for better posture; this helps reduce upper body stress. We recommend that most users select at least a moderately contoured seat. Neutral Posture's medium and high contoured seats spread your body weight out much better than a traditionally contoured seat, reducing pressure points that come from sitting for long hours. The NPS8000 series chairs offer six different seats and contours to fit your body size and sitting habits.
If you'd like a softer seat or a further reduction in seated pressure, a seat cushion can be ordered with a layer of N'Dulgent memory foam. If you're ordering one of the minimally contoured seats, we strongly recommend adding the N'Dulgent foam.
Chair Height - Neutral Posture 8000 Chair
The NPS8000 is available in different heights to accommodate users of all heights, and it can be configured as a tall chair for use as a drafting chair or for sit/stand workstations.
- 3" cylinder: 16" -19" (standard on knee-tilt mechanism or 27" aluminum base)
- 4" cylinder: 17" -21" (standard on multi-function with seat slider)
- 5" cylinder: 20" - 27" (standard on multi-function w/o seat slider)
- 7" cylinder: 20" - 30" (standard with 28" black base)
Thoracic Support - Neutral Posture 8000 Chair
The NPS8000 chair has additional support options as well. Add thoracic support to encourage good posture and reduce upper body pain. This contoured ridge runs vertically down the chair back, reminding users to sit up straight and roll their shoulders back.
Note: This option is only available with Cloud 9 Fabric.
Padding - Neutral Posture 8000 Chair
Optional N'dulgent memory foam adds a layer of comfort for a softer, cushiony feel without compromising support. You can add the memory foam to the back, seat, or both.
Headrest - Neutral Posture 8000 Chair
Choose between a headrest that is height and depth adjustable, or a more streamlined neckrest which is only height adjustable.

Neutral Posture Nextep
Wide, stable platform provide for ergonomic positioning and support of the feet and legs. It is perfect for drafting height chairs. The Nextep can hold up to 400 pounds and is both depth and height adjustable. The step fits over existing footrings and will retrofit most other stools. Use more than one to create a "staircase" to your seat.
Fring
The Fring rests on your chair base allowing you to rest your feet and maintain a healthy, open ankle position.
Footrings
