Discover the wide range of adjustments that are possible with the Steelcase Gesture Chair.
The design of the Steelcase Gesture Chair is the result of Steelcase's Global Posture Study, spanning eleven countries on six continents and over 2000 workers. The study showed that the use of modern wireless devices such as tablets, smartphones and laptops has given rise to nine common postures, all of which were given little support by most chair designs. The Steelcase Gesture was thus modeled after the human body so that the chair itself could flex and conform to these new postures. A pair of unique 360° arms and Steelcase's LiveBack technology allow you to adjust the chair to your body in nearly any posture, while still maintaining the same level of comfort and support for traditional working postures that Steelcase chairs are famous for.
