Frame Color - Steelcase Amia Chair
The Steelcase Amia chair is available in your choice of black or platinum frames. Frames are pictured below on fabric models, but are applicable on leather Amias as well.

The chair base can match the black or platinum frame, or it can be polished aluminum.

This chair can be also be made in one of three Elmosoft leather colors. Elmo Soft Leather is known for its durability and super-soft feel.

Arms - Steelcase Amia Chair
The Steelcase Amia Chair is available with or without arms. We highly recommend Steelcase arms because they're some of the best on the market. The highly adjustable arms move in and out, forward and back, up and down and pivot, so you can find the exact position for optimal support and comfort.
Leather Arm Caps - Steelcase Amia Chair
Steelcase now offers the Steelcase Amia Chair in leather with or without matching leather arm caps upgrade. This upgrade includes sewn leather on the seat and back in addition to the matching upholstery on the armrests.
Casters - Steelcase Amia Chair
Select hard casters for carpeted floors or soft casters for hard floors like concrete and tile.

The Steelcase Amia chair has many similar features that are known in the Steelcase Leap chair. We have an Amia and a Leap in our office and both are very comfortable, but amazingly several of us think the Amia is more comfortable. All this with a significantly lower price point. The Amia is a tough chair that can provide ergonomic seating to intensive computer users weighing up to 300 lbs. It's easy to adjust the tilt tension control and adjustable lumbar support, and the arms are extremely well designed with a wide range of adjust-ability. The regular gas cylinder fits users as small as 5' up to 6' 4". The Amia won a Gold in the ergonomic category in the Best of Neocon competition. I highly recommend this chair.
