Your Health Matters: E7 Active Anti-Fatigue Mat by UPLIFT Desk

Standing up for yourself has never been a bad thing, especially where health is concerned. Where you stand and how is totally up to you but most people prefer standing on their floors, which usually come in either the carpeted or un-carpeted variety. Carpet at least relieves a little pressure, but if you’re on a hard floor you may find that you experience some fatigue and pressure when standing for long periods. Most people solve this issue with a mat of some kind but most anti-fatigue mats fall a little, well…flat. So we figured the best way to improve on an old solution is to UPLIFT it!

The E7 Active Anti-Fatigue Mat isn’t like your typical desk mat. Sure, it serves the same purpose, but where the traditional anti-fatigue mat leaves you a little bit limited on your options for how you would like to stand, the E7 is designed to allow for various postures to keep you comfortable while you stand. The mat consists of a central “trough” area, which isn’t much different from the anti-fatigue mats you know and love, and several upraised areas of varying shape and size around the edges. Each one allows for a different standing position. For example, the front upraised edge of the mat has a “rest bar”, which is a textured cylindrical area that you can used to massage your feet. The surface area is a little tight to do both feet at once but you can most definitely give them a little love one at a time. There are also spherical massage mounds on both sides along the edge of the mat that allow you to stretch the arches of the feet and power wedges at the back that let you stretch out your caves and give your heels a little relief.

If you find yourself getting sleepy legs or odd, inexplicable tingles as you stand, the E7 Active Anti-Fatigue Mat is sure to give you some relief and provide yet another way to stay active while you work. Remember that when your work routine and health seem to be falling flat, it’s time to UPLIFT it! Happy standing!
