Announcing the Winners of Our Steelcase Office Makeover Contest

Posted by Angela P on Jul 5th 2013

Our Steelcase contest officially ended on June 28th. In that month I saw a lot of great offices, a lot of offices that need some help, and a lot of great compliments about our website, our products, and our amazing customer service and sales team! Our winners were drawn via a random number generator earlier this week, and let me just say that I can't think of a better end to a long day than calling people to tell them that they've won some great office furniture from Steelcase! Thanks to everyone who entered!

Chris S., of Indiana, is our grand prize winner. Chris will soon be walking and working in style and comfort with a great new Steelcase office, featuring the Sit-to-Walkstation treadmill desk, Leap chair, FYI monitor arm, Currency storage cabinet, Dash Mini lamp, Turnstone Campfire Paper Table, two Buoy chairs, a Slatwall with Stanchions for mounting, and a slatwall-mounted Pen and Pencil Cup and Letter Tray.

Ethan B. already has one of our handmade solid wood Mesquite standing desks, made right here in Austin by a local woodworker. He will now be able to add a new chair to that workstation! Of course we advocate standing as often as possible during your workday, but since you have to sit sometimes, you can't go wrong with a Steelcase Amia chair!

Although we can't see which chair Patty S. has now, I'm guessing that it's nowhere near as comfortable and adjustable as the Amia chair is. With features like width-adjustable arms, and a seat slider, this chair will fit most users, meaning that Patty may have to retrieve her new chair from her coworkers' desks in the near future. Luckily, its affordability also makes it a great choices for offices needing to outfit multiple workstations with new chairs!

Anette R. was our third Amia chair winner. Anette already has an ergonomic split keyboard, and a document holder, both of which are great additions to an ergonomic workstation, but it looks like she needs a little help with her chair. The Amia chair, with its adjustable back tension and customizable lumbar support will be a great fit for both her and her workstation!
