Humanscale 900 and 950 Platinum Keyboard Trays offer the freedom of a clip mouse platform, which can be positioned on either side of the tray for use by right-handed or left-handed individuals. The mouse platform tilts independently of the keyboard platform, so the mouse can rest on a flat surface to avoid sliding off, even when the keyboard is tilted. Many users select our advanced 5GV mechanism with simple dial-a-tilt and height adjustment. Those with a narrower workspace, however, will likely need the 5GSV short mechanism. It offers all the features of the 5GV in a more compact form to fit a shallow desk.
Note: The 5GV and 5GSV mechanisms are the platinum colored versions of the popular 5G and 5GSM mechanisms.

Humanscale 900 and 950 keyboard trays are constructed of the ultra-strong composite called phenolic. The keyboard platforms are non-toxic, durable, easy to clean, and very thin (0.25"). Both trays are the same width (19") and attach to either the 5GV or 5GSV mechanism.
The only difference between the two is that the 950 is not as deep as the 900. This makes the 950 ideal for users trying to minimize the size of their keyboard tray. These trays are designed for standard shaped keyboards or split ergonomic keyboards. Users with curved or "natural" shaped keyboards should see our Humanscale 100 Combo Keyboard Tray - Preconfigured.
Humanscale 5GV and 5GSV mechanisms are a vital part of any keyboard tray system. They connect the keyboard platform to the track, and allow it to move back and forth and adjust vertically, swivel, and tilt to fit your specific needs. The mechanisms easily slide out to a comfortable position for work or stow away underneath the desk when not in use. The tracks that come with these systems are extremely stable, and the durable steel construction allow sure keying and mousing.
The clip mouse is the only mouse platform that adjusts in three dimensions to enhance comfort. It can be custom positioned using the height, depth, lateral, and tilt adjustability. Place it on either side of the keyboard for right- or left-handed use. Choose between 8.5" and 10" diameters to fit your workspace.
Select from four different palm rest options for your 900 keyboard tray: All are covered with an easy to clean, black synthetic leather.
The 19 inch slim gel palm rest with synthetic leather cover is only about a quarter of an inch thick and is available in black or silver. Slim palm rests are not compatible with swivel mouse platforms.
The Goldtouch Go! Travel Notebook and Tablet Stand will come in handy not only when you're traveling, but anytime you want to set your laptop or tablet in an ergonomic position. Choose from seven different height settings to keep your screen at eye-level, which helps you avoid problems like eye strain and neck and back pain. This item also works well as a document holder, allowing you to input data without having to move your neck repeatedly from document to screen. The stand is lightweight and easily portable, yet strong enough to support laptops up to 17'' in length. Best of all, it's free!
A keyboard tray is a key component of an ergonomic workstation. Position your keyboard tray so you can type and mouse while keeping your wrists straight. The ideal height for the keyboard is at elbow height or lower. Typically you should locate the keyboard tray just above your lap height. Your upper arms should hang comfortably at your sides as you work. The keyboard tray should be gently sloped or tilted away from the user to allow the wrists to be straight instead of flexed. When properly adjusted, a keyboard tray allows the back, neck, shoulders, and wrists to relax. The size of the keyboard tray must accommodate the keyboard and any input device like a mouse. Avoid having your keyboard on a tray and your mouse on the desk.
