UPLIFT Plus Height-Adjustable Standing Desks are available in the following standard sizes. Call us at 800-531-3746 for a quote on a custom size wood desktop anywhere from 43'' to 96'' wide.
UPLIFT Desks are available in the following Solid Wood and Texas Native Wood stocks. All solid woods will use filler of various colors to fill in knots, bug-holes and imperfections in the wood. The filler is usually black, but other colors may be used at our woodworker's discretion.
Cedar is a beautiful and unique wood, and it is also fairly soft. Please note that applied pressure can result in indentations.
Please note: Certain woods can look lighter when they are new, but will darken over time. Cherry, mesquite, and walnut are especially prone to these natural variations. See a comparison below, give us a call if you'd like more detailed information: 800-531-3746.
If you would prefer, the UPLIFT Plus is also available in your choice of high-quality laminate. The one inch thick laminate is extremely sturdy and doesn't bend or sag like other laminates. The durable E-1-rated laminate top features 45 lbs density particle board with 3 mm PVC edge and is available in cherry, mahogany, maple or black finish.
The white laminate top option is slightly thicker and made of 60 weight particle board finished with Wilsonart laminate and a matching white PVC T-mold edge.
The Cedar and Mesquite Native Wood desktops are available with three different shape options -- Square, Bark Line Front and Square Back, and Bark Line Front and Back. All other Solid Wood desktops are only available Square.
Sides are always square, corners are never sharp, and corner and edge details are as shown in the photos below.
If you want a more consistent surface with less filler, select a Square desk finish. Desks with a straight edge have fewer desk edge imperfections because we cut away the character that exists near the bark of a tree.
If you choose the Bark Line option, you may notice that your desktop has more character towards the outer edge. The Cedar wood with barkline is fairly uniform so you will see wood grain and bark contours. The Mesquite wood barkline is more prone to bug trails. We use a clear or black filler where bug trail marks or cracks occur in Mesquite. If you are selecting the Mesquite wood surface, you can expect some character and filler in the wood at the front edge like in the image below. Note that every desk varies, but customers that visit our retail store always love these tops with slightly more people favoring the Mesquite top aesthetics. Most people do order the barkline option as it makes the desk look unique and helps add a natural feel to your work space.

The included cable organization tray forms the crux of your wire management solution with a sleek, black design that seamlessly blends with your desk's design and mounts securely to the desktop with two self-tapping wood screws or a strip of included double-sided tape. At 3.6'' wide, this tray is wide enough to accommodate cords, power supplies and the included power strip, minimizing below-desk clutter. While we recommend adding the entire advanced wire management kit for a full cable management solution with the most customization, this wire management tray portion of the kit can also be added to your desk order on its own.
10 self-adhesive wire mounts and 100 single-use cable ties allow for cables to be bundled and pulled taut against the bottom of the desk, eliminating hanging wires.
As your workstation develops over the years, it's likely that you'll need to re-bundle wires for routing or storage inside the wire management tray. A set of 10 reusable cable ties is also included, allowing for modification of cable bundling as needed without needing to replace individual cable ties.
Additionally, the Advanced Wire Management Kit provides a desk-to-wall cable organizer to organize wires running from an outlet or equipment to your desk in a single bundle. The desk-to-wall cable organizer's heavy-duty "spiral" design protects the cables inside from wear and tear, while also allowing cables to be integrated into the organizer or removed from it easily. An included quick wire add/remove tool rapidly and efficiently routes cables into the organizer.
Grommet holes can be added to your UPLIFT desk to allow for through-desk cable routing or monitor arm mounting, or can include a power grommet with two AC power outlets. The holes will be drilled at the rear edge of your desk on either the left, right or both. For custom grommet hole positions, please call us at 1-800-531-3746.
Wire grommet covers feature flip-top tabs that cover the cord slot when not in use. UPLIFT Power Grommets feature two UL-approved power outlets, a small hole for wires, and 58'' cords. These power grommets give you easy outlet access for peripherals, and allow power sources to move up and down with your desk when going from sitting to standing.
The UPLIFT 900 Standing Desk can be ordered with optional casters. The casters come in a set of six - two for each leg. They can be locked to keep the desk stationary, but easily unlocked when you need to roll the desk.
Please note: the casters will add approximately 1.5 inches of height to your desk.
The attached stands that typically come with a new monitor are not ergonomic or adjustable; using a monitor arm will allow you to maintain good posture, avoid eye strain, control monitor position and save desktop space. Most people who purchase a monitor arm come back and say they should have done so years ago.
The UPLIFT Monitor Arm is a stylish, pneumatic monitor arm that provides complete fingertip adjustment for height, depth and lateral movement with an adjustable counterbalance system that allows for easy movement. Add an UPLIFT Sit-Stand desk mat to your desk order, and receive an additional discount off the regular mat price. Our UPLIFT Sit-Stand anti-fatigue desk mats are extremely durable and comfortable. The padding is an inch thick and the surface is puncture-proof to withstand high heels or even the wheels of your chair. Choose from a 2' x 3' size or a 3' x 5' size.
Note: If you wish to use your UPLIFT Sit-Stand desk mat as a chair mat as well, you will need the 3' x 5' size.
When using a sit-stand desk, we recommend mounting your computer beneath your desktop to prevent cables from being stretched and pulled out of their ports when moving the desk from sitting to standing positions. We don't recommend leaving your CPU on the floor, as most cords aren't long enough to stretch from a computer placed on the floor to the standing height of your desk. While one option is to place your CPU on top of your desk, a CPU holder allows you to securely attach your computer tower to the bottom of your desktop to free up desk space. For an adjustable CPU holder at a discounted price when bundled with this desk, our own UPLIFT CPU Holder features a 360° swivel mount and a gliding track mechanism for easy access to your computer.

An ergonomic keyboard tray is an excellent accessory for your UPLIFT desk, giving you the freedom to adjust the height and tilt of your keyboard independently from the desk. A keyboard tray will also relieve the strain caused by over-reaching to type and is an excellent way to manage repetitive stress issues. An UPLIFT Desk is available with your choice of two keyboard trays. The UPLIFT Large Keyboard Tray comes with one, 27'' wide surface for your keyboard and mouse to sit side-by-side. For those who prefer more flexibility, the UPLIFT Switch Keyboard Tray comes with two surfaces: a 19.75'' wide platform for the keyboard and a separate 9'' diameter surface for the mouse. The mouse platform can easily move to the left or right side for ambidextrous mousing, and is also depth adjustable, allowing you to position your mouse closer to your body or farther away without adjusting the rest of the keyboard tray.
Though they have different platforms, both keyboard trays offer the same intuitive adjustability, wide range of ergonomic features and simple installation. With their easy lift-and-release, knob-free locking height adjustment that adjusts a full 8'', wheel tilt adjustment, and easy-to-read height and tilt indicators, both UPLIFT Keyboard Trays allow you to position your keyboard and mouse in a healthy, comfortable spot, whether seated or standing. All necessary mounting hardware is included, including an 11'' track that allows your keyboard tray system to be mounted without interference from the desk's brackets, and a 21'' track that you can use where there is full clearance under the desk. While the 11'' track length will not allow you to fully store your tray along the track under your desk, we find that most users never fully retract their tray even if they have that capability. For users with a 60'' or wider desktop, you can take advantage of the 360° of rear swivel at the mechanism to rotate your platform around underneath the desktop for storage.

We offer several different shipping options for your convenience and needs. Prices may differ depending on the circumstances, but you will always be contacted for prior approval in the event of any pricing discrepancies. Feel free to call us at 800-531-3746 with any questions not addressed below or to discuss further what delivery option will work best for you.
Your order ships on a pallet and will typically arrive 2 - 5 business days from shipment, depending on your location. When your order ships, we'll send tracking and freight carrier information, so you can check when it is scheduled to arrive. With the exception of Platinum level delivery, the products will remain in their original packaging with no assembly provided. Freight deliveries do not require a scheduled appointment beforehand. Once you receive tracking, you can call the freight company and ask for the 4-hour window when they expect to be in your area, and you can request that they call you when they are an hour from delivery. If you are unable to receive the shipment, or it has to be held in storage, fees may be incurred.
The delivery agent will pull up to your loading dock or office at ground level. From there, you are responsible for taking the items off the truck and into your business, either with the help of a forklift or a few of your employees. A laminate desktop weighs about 50 lbs, and a desk frame weighs about 85 lbs. The desktop, desk base and any accessories you order are packaged separately on the pallet, allowing you to break down the pallet and remove each part of your order individually. If you do not have a loading dock, we suggest upgrading to Business lift gate delivery below at no additional charge.
The delivery agent will park wherever is most convenient at your business and use a device to get the shipment off the truck and onto the ground for you. Sometimes they will have a pallet jack that, while unable to go up stairs or steep inclines, may be able to move the shipment a reasonable distance. However, for the most part you will still be required to get the shipment up to and into your office.
The delivery agent will park the freight truck in front of your residence, so you can cut the ties on the pallet and take the items off the truck and into your home. For most customers, this delivery method is manageable for two people. If you do not have a friend, family member or neighbor who can help, you can ask the delivery driver to help you lift and move the boxes to your house. Please understand that the driver is not required to assist, but, in our experience, kindness and a small tip go a long way. If you believe you will not be able to lift the items off the truck, we recommend selecting Residential lift gate delivery below. The desktop and desk frame are packaged separately on the pallet, allowing you to break down the pallet and remove each box individually from the truck and into your residence. A laminate desktop weighs about 50 lbs, and a desk frame weighs about 85 lbs. Any accessories you order are packaged separately and easy to manage. Once you are sure all boxes have been removed from the truck (including the desktop, which will be boxed up and protected between two plywood boards), we recommend you leave the pallet and plywood boards in the back of the truck, if the driver agrees.
Residential lift gate delivery is the same as the Residential standard freight delivery described above, but the freight truck has a device to get the shipment off the truck for you. As with Residential standard freight delivery, if you want extra help from the delivery driver (beyond removing your boxes from the truck) we recommend kindness and a small tip.
Limited access locations include schools, military bases, prisons, churches, nursing homes, hospitals, construction sites, storage units, remote farms or ranches, golf courses and country clubs, utility sites, or any business with specific requirements such as certain times when you can't accept deliveries. These locations can vary widely in receiving availability and capability. With a standard delivery, the delivery agent will pull up to your loading dock or office at ground level. From there, you are responsible for taking the items off the truck and into your business, either with the help of a forklift or a few of your employees. You can also upgrade to include lift gate services, in which the delivery truck has a device to get the shipment off the truck and to the ground for you. If any extra charges are incurred, we will inform you as soon as possible and will not proceed with the order until these charges are approved by you.
Estimated Canada freight delivery covers Business or Residential standard freight delivery to most locations in Canada. See above for what standard Business and Residential freight delivery entails. You may be subject to extra fees for remote locations; however, you will be notified by email if such charges occur, and we will not charge your card or ship your order until we receive consent for the additional charge.
Because this is an international freight shipment, it does require a customs broker. If you do not have a broker, we have negotiated better rates with one ourselves and can help set you up with them. Our broker's rate is $125, and they will also need to collect Canadian sales tax appropriate for your province. This freight delivery charge only covers shipping costs; you will be responsible for any duties, fees or taxes incurred. If you would like to provide your own desktop, the UPLIFT 950 Frame Only is available, and is much less expensive to ship to Canada.
If shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or outside of the US, we will contact you with a shipping quote. Your order will not be processed until shipping costs are approved. Transit time and delivery date varies.
Our free standard delivery works well for most people who order our desks. While receiving a freight shipment and assembling your desk may sound daunting, it's actually pretty straightforward. Visit our desk assembly instruction page to watch videos of the assembly and read more about our free delivery options. If you have special requirements and need to have your desk assembled or delivered to a specific area or room of choice, the following Platinum, Silver and Bronze white glove delivery options are available. These options require a four-hour delivery window between the hours of 9 AM and 5 PM, Monday - Friday. We'll send tracking once your order ships, and, once your shipment has arrived at its destination terminal and is prepared, the agent will call to schedule your four-hour window for delivery, or, in the case of Platinum services, assembly. Deliveries and installation outside normal business hours require prior arrangement and may incur additional fees. Please contact us if you need to schedule delivery or assembly outside of these times, or if your building requires a Certificate of Insurance. COI requirements may result in a fee of up to $50, and failure to alert us beforehand may delay delivery or assembly.
Bronze level delivery means that the delivery agent will bring your shipment up to the first dry area, such as a porch or garage, including up to two flights of stairs (15 steps per flight maximum; contact us for any additional flights). The products will remain in their original packaging with no assembly provided. This service can typically add 3-5 days to your delivery date.
Silver level delivery means that the delivery agent will bring your shipment into your room or office of choice, including up to two flights of stairs (15 steps per flight maximum; contact us for any additional flights). The products will remain in their original packaging with no assembly provided. This service can typically add 3-5 days to your delivery date.
Platinum level delivery includes delivery to your room or office of choice, as well as assembly of the desk and any desired accessories, including de-trashing services. This excludes chairs and wire management kits, any electrical or component hookups, or any other products ordered separate from this listing that ship separately. Please note that Platinum level delivery can add up to 1-2 weeks to your delivery date. If you need your desk sooner than that, you may want to opt for one of our other freight delivery levels without assembly. This service is not available on orders delivered to the state of California.
We are so confident in our product that we back each UPLIFT desk base we ship with a 7-year, all-inclusive warranty, which covers the frame, motor, controller, switch, electronics and mechanisms. You also have the option of upgrading to our 12-year, all-inclusive extended warranty. If you have any issues with your desk base within the warranty period, just give us a call, and we will ship you the necessary replacement parts free of charge.
