So This is the New Year: My Ergonomic Resolutions

Right about now, the gyms are packed with people who've resolved to get healthy this year. Over the next few weeks, the crowds will taper off as people find their resolutions harder to keep. I've fallen prey to it myself. There have been many times where I've planned to go for a run when I get home at night, only to find myself making excuses once I'm there. "Well, I just ate dinner, so I should wait a while." or "Oh, it's still hot out, I'll wait till the sun goes down." or, the ultimate killer of good intentions, "Oh, I'll just play some Skyrim while I'm waiting for it to cool off outside."

While one of my resolutions this year is to log some serious miles on the running trail, I think that a LifeSpan TR800-DT3 Standing Desk Treadmill would be a great solution for those days when an after-work run just isn't going to happen.

This treadmill fits perfectly under your desk and allows you to walk at speeds from 0.4 to four miles an hour. With a recommended usage time of three hours per day, that would be an easy way to get in at least six to eight miles of walking each day. While that may not sound like a lot, a 160 pound person will burn about 200 calories per hour walking at just 2 MPH, while heavier people will burn even more walking at the same rate of speed.

If you have any questions about this treadmill, or any of our treadmills and exercise desks, give us a call at 800-531-3746 or talk with one of our experts online.
