Model
We offer two different wood surfaces on our height adjustable desk: Cedar and Mesquite. All solid woods will use filler of various colors to fill in knots, bug-holes and imperfections in the wood. The filler is usually black, but other colors may be used at the woodworker's discretion.
Desk Shape
The UpLift 400 Native Wood Electric 26.8" - 48" Sit-Stand Pedestal Desk is available with three different edge configurations.
Note: Desk sides are always a square edge.
Square Edge
If you want a more consistent surface with less filler, select a Square Edge desk finish. Desks with a straight edge have fewer imperfections because we cut away the bug trails found in the bark line edge.
Bark Line Edge
Bark line edge finish has more character towards the outer edge. We use a clear or black filler where bug trail marks or cracks occur in wood like Mesquite. If you are selecting the Mesquite wood surface, you can expect some character in the wood at the front edge like in the image below.
Base Color
The base of the UpLift 400 Pedestal Desk may be ordered in Silver or Black powder coat finish.
