We offer two LifeSpan Treadmill models, the TR800-DT3 and the TR1200-DT3. The TR800-DT3 is recommended for up to three hours of use per day, which is more than enough time for most people. However, if you do plan on using the treadmill for more than three hours per day, or if the treadmill will be used in a multi-shift application, we recommend the heavier-duty TR1200-DT3 model.

Assembling an UpLift 900 Sit-Stand Desk is easy! See how to below.
The UpLift LifeSpan Treadmill Desk is available with a durable cherry, mahogany, maple or black laminate top, in the following sizes:
A butcher block wood desktop is also available in a 61'' W x 29.5'' D cut. The butcher block top features a smooth-sanded surface made of natural beech for a clean, raw look. The wood can also be stained or finished for a more traditional appearance.
For a solid feel and a distinct look, check out our Solid and Native Wood desk options. All solid woods will use filler of various colors to fill in knots, bug-holes and imperfections in the wood. The filler is usually black, but other colors may be used at our woodworker's discretion. Call us at 800-531-3746 for a quote on a custom size wood desktop.
The Cedar and Mesquite Native Wood desktops are available with three different shape options -- Square, Bark Line Front and Square Back, and Bark Line Front and Back. All laminate and all other Solid Wood desktops are only available Square.
Sides are always square, corners are never sharp, and corner and edge details are as shown in the photos below.
If you want a more consistent surface with less filler, select a Square desk finish. Desks with a straight edge have fewer desk edge imperfections because we cut away the character that exists near the bark of a tree.
If you choose the Bark Line option, you may notice that your desktop has more character towards the outer edge. The Cedar wood with barkline is fairly uniform so you will see wood grain and bark contours. The Mesquite wood barkline is more prone to bug trails. We use a clear or black filler where bug trail marks or cracks occur in Mesquite. If you are selecting the Mesquite wood surface, you can expect some character and filler in the wood at the front edge like in the image below. Note that every desk varies, but customers that visit our retail store always love these tops with slightly more people favoring the Mesquite top aesthetics. Most people do order the barkline option as it makes the desk look unique and helps add a natural feel to your work space.
Choose a black, silver or white UpLift 900 sit-stand base.
Choose a model of LifeSpan Treadmill to go with your desk. We offer the LifeSpan Standing Desk Treadmill TR800-DT3 or the LifeSpan Standing Desk Treadmill TR1200-DT3. The TR800-DT3 is warranted for up to three hours of use per day, which is more than enough for most people. The TR1200-DT3 is a heavier-duty model that's great for multi-use workstations.
The UpLift Treadmill Mat is a must-have accessory for your walking workstation. The mat will help prevent dust and dirt from getting into the machinery of your treadmill, keeping your equipment safe. It helps to absorb impact, reduce vibrations, and protect your floor, and the textured, non-slip surface is easy to clean. The UpLift Treadmill Mat puts the finishing touch on your treadmill desk set-up.
The Advanced Wire Management Kit is a complete cable organization system for your height-adjustable desk. We developed this kit after years of desk installations. It's a proven way to easily manage all computer and electric desk cords. The kit includes the following:
Click the video below to get some helpful tips on making the most of your UpLift Advanced Wire Management Kit:
The included cable organization tray forms the crux of your wire management solution with a sleek, black design that seamlessly blends with your desk's design and mounts securely to the desktop with two self-tapping wood screws or a strip of included double-sided tape. At 3.6'' wide, this tray is wide enough to accommodate cords, power supplies and the included power strip, minimizing below-desk clutter.
10 self-adhesive wire mounts and 100 single-use cable ties allow for cables to be bundled and pulled taut against the bottom of the desk, eliminating hanging wires.
As your workstation develops over the years, it's likely that you'll need to re-bundle wires for routing or storage inside the wire management tray. A set of 10 reusable cable ties is also included, allowing for modification of cable bundling as needed without needing to replace individual cable ties.
Additionally, the Advanced Wire Management Kit provides a desk-to-wall cable organizer to organize wires running from an outlet or equipment to your desk in a single bundle. The desk-to-wall cable organizer's heavy-duty "spiral" design protects the cables inside from wear and tear, while also allowing cables to be integrated into the organizer or removed from it easily. An included quick wire add/remove tool rapidly and efficiently routes cables into the organizer.
A 3'' grommet hole can be added to your UpLift desk to allow for through-desk cable routing or monitor arm mounting. The holes can be drilled on the rear of your desk in either the left, right, center, or a combination of the three. Corner desk grommet holes are drilled 2'' from the left or right side and 2.5'' from the rear edge, with central grommet holes placed in the center of the desk 2.5'' from the desk's rear edge. Each grommet hole includes your choice of black or chrome grommet hole covers. The black grommet hole covers also feature flip-top tabs that cover the cord slot when not in use. For custom grommet hole positions, please call us at 1-800-531-3746.
The UpLift 900 Standing Desk with your treadmill desk can come with optional casters. The casters come in a set of four - two for each leg. They can be locked to keep the desk stationary, but easily unlocked when you need to roll the desk.
Please note: the casters will add approximately 2.25'' of height to your desk.
The Two-Drawer Mobile Pedestal is a great addition to your treadmill workstation. When ordered with the desk, you'll receive an additional $80 off the pedestal price. The pedestal is available in a maple, mahogany, cherry or black finish, to match your laminate desktop.
This pedestal provides a stylish and convenient place to store your documents and office supplies. Includes casters for easy movement and a locking top drawer for security and privacy.
A monitor arm is almost always better than the stands that most monitors come with. Monitor arms allow you to easily move the monitor in and out, side-to-side, and up and down, while allowing you to make use of the desktop surface under the monitor. It is best not to use valuable and convenient desktop space with your monitor stand - most people push their monitor too far back to save desktop space and end up with a hunched back as they strain forward to see the screen. Most people that we sell a monitor arm to come back to us and say that they should have gone with a monitor arm years ago.
The Budget Single Monitor Arm and Budget Dual Monitor Arm allow you to elevate your VESA-compatible displays off of your desk and easily move the monitor in the horizontal plane (in and out, side-to-side) by using your fingertips to move the monitor. To move the monitor vertically you need to adjust the vertical position of the arm where it mounts to the vertical pole at the back of your desk. For users who want easier vertical adjustment, there's the Innovative EVO II and Innovative 7500 Wing Dual LCD monitor arms. These stylish, heavy-duty monitor arms provide complete fingertip adjustment for height, depth and lateral movement. They support monitors weighing up to 20 lbs. with an adjustable vertical counterbalance system that allows for fingertip vertical monitor adjustment. For dual monitor users with a wide desktop and a chair next to the treadmill, we recommend the Innovative 7500 because it can easily swing the dual monitors in tandem from one side of the desk to the other.
When using a sit-stand desk, we recommend mounting your computer beneath your desktop to prevent cables from being stretched and pulled out of their ports when moving the desk from sitting to standing positions. We don't recommend leaving your CPU on the floor, as most cords aren't long enough to stretch from a computer placed on the floor to the standing height of your desk. While one option is to place your CPU on top of your desk, a CPU holder allows you to securely attach your computer tower to the bottom of your desktop to free up desk space. For an adjustable CPU holder at a discounted price when bundled with this desk, both our own UpLift CPU Holder and the Humanscale CPU600 CPU Holder feature a 360° swivel mount and a gliding track mechanism for easy access to your computer.
An ergonomic keyboard tray is an excellent accessory for your treadmill desk, and our in-house UpLift Large Keyboard Tray, as well as the 500 and 900 model Humanscale Keyboard Trays, have been specifically configured for use with a desk with a crossbar. Our UpLift keyboard tray features 8'' of height adjustment and 20° of negative tilt adjustment, as well as a removable foam palm support and a foam mouse pad and cord manager that can switch sides for ambidextrous mouse use. Or, choose between a Humanscale "Big Board" 500 keyboard platform or a smaller 900 platform with a separate 8.5" diameter high-clip mouse platform. Both Humascale keyboard systems feature a shorter 5GSM mechanism that gives you 4" of height adjustment and 15° of tilt and allows for four more inches of storage under the desk than a standard Humanscale mechanism.
All three keyboard tray options have been discounted when bundled with your UpLift desk and come with a shorter 11" track to mount the keyboard tray without interference from your desk's support beam underneath. While the 11'' track length will not allow you to fully store your tray along the track under your desk, we find that most users never fully retract their tray even if they have that capability. For users with a 60'' or wider desktop, you can take advantage of the 360° of rear swivel at the mechanism available on all three keyboard tray options to rotate your platform around underneath the desktop for storage. To achieve a fully-retractable keyboard tray along the track, you must mount a full track (21'' on the UpLift Keyboard Tray and 22" on the Humanscale Keyboard Tray) under the desk, which is available on our UpLift 920 Desk with no crossbar interference.
For a little bit of extra storage, add an UpLift Half Circle Desk Drawer at a discounted price when bundled together with your desk. This half-circle-shaped, swiveling drawer easily attaches to the underside of your desktop via a central mount and pivots in either direction, rotating out to give you quick and easy access to smaller accessories that you don't want cluttering up your desktop. Featuring pen and pencil trays, a notepad slot, a tape dispenser, and storage compartments, the 13.6'' W x 7.4'' D x 1.3'' thick UpLift accessories drawer will help keep your height adjustable desk cleaner and more organized.
Your treadmill desk arrives with each component carefully packaged on a pallet for maximum protection.

As the U.S. becomes, on average, more and more obese, people are looking for more and more ways to combat the problem. A gym membership will (hopefully) get you working out for an hour or two a few times per week. Same with exercise, spin and jazzercise classes. The real problem is that huge chunk of time in the middle of your day when you're sitting at your desk at work. A treadmill desk such as the UpLift Lifespan Treadmill Desk will allow you to transform some of that time into productive fitness time. Numerous studies have shown that a leisurely strolling pace, or even some stationary standing, in combination with reduced time in your chair offers the same or even more health benefits than more strenuous workouts combined with eight to 10 hours of chair time. A 160 lbs. person will burn about 200 calories an hour while walking at 2.0 mph.
