Petite Chair |
Most petite people are used to putting up with chairs that don't fit right- but in this day and age, that's not necessary. It isn't healthy for anyone to sit in a chair that doesn't meet their personal needs. A properly fitted chair allows you to work in the position that is healthiest and most comfortable. This is especially important if you spend long hours each day at your computer.
A chair that is too tall:
Seat depth is often overlooked, but a chair that is too deep can restrict the blood flow to your legs. For best results, there should be some space, at least two inches (or the width of two fingers), between the front edge of the seat and the back of your legs.
These fit problems can sometimes be handled inexpensively through the use of foot rests, or purchasing a properly fitted chair that offers a superior and more comfortable solution.
